Structure of Class INTRODUCTION TO MAYA Learn the fundamentals of animation using Autodesk Maya, the most popular 3D animation program in the market. Learn the methods and resources used by professional animators to produce recognizable, animated figures to begin your path to becoming a successful character animator. INTRODUCTION TO ANIMATION In animation, you have to learn how to animate a walk cycle before you can move on to other kinds of shots, so you have to walk before you can run. You will discover the fundamentals of 3D character animation in INTRODUCTION TO ANIMATION, along with how to use them with basic forms. When you eventually need to animate speech shots and complex characters, this will provide you with a strong base. The ability to communicate emotion using even the most basic of characters is the most crucial skill you will acquire in this course. BASIC TO ADVANCED BODY MECHANICS Explore the physicality of animating bipeds, including full body walks, in the Body Mechanics animation course. Start by improving your ability to observe others and your knowledge of human anatomy as it relates to posture and mechanics. You'll discover how timing and spacing decisions may transform your animation from realistic to stylish after you comprehend the foundation of realistic motion. Lastly, give your animation some sheen and finish. Expand on your prior knowledge from earlier courses to animate ever more complex shots in the Advanced Body Mechanics animation course.
