About Eva
I have over fifteen years of experience teaching students in the UK and internationally. I have designed and delivered one-to-one and group chess lessons for learners of all ages and levels, tailoring engaging courses for schools, libraries, community centres and private businesses.
I have also prepared chess workshops as part of arts programs and festivals, including Chess For All, the London Casual Chess Café, Learning Transformation Technique, AntiUniversity Now.
My training comes from FEDA, the Spanish Chess Federation, and I regularly compete in tournaments, including the London Chess Classic and the International Hastings Chess Congress.

I’m a passionate chess tutor who makes learning both fun and effective. My lessons combine clear explanations of new concepts with exercises, puzzles, and creative resources to help students improve their game and develop their own strategies. Each session ends with reflection, ensuring every lesson is meaningful and memorable.
I teach all levels and cover topics such as openings, middle games, endgames, pawn structures, sacrifices, game analysis, and the history of chess.
Chess is for everyone, and I strive to make every lesson inspiring and enjoyable. DBS certification is available on request.
