About Mayra

I'm native of the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, located next to the islands of Cuba and the Dominican Republic. I have 30 years of experience teaching Social Studies and Spanish on my native island and Oregon. I am a Spanish fluency enthusiast. My love for the Spanish language is matched by my passion to help others learn it too. I earned my B. A. degree in Social Studies at Interamerican University and my master's Degree at Caribbean University, both located in Puerto Rico. My phrase: If you can see it in your mind it can manifest in your world. Never Give Up, Tu puedes!- You can do anything that you want.

About the lesson

I offer a practical, structured, communication-focused method that is tailored to your needs. With this approach, you will learn how to speak Spanish from day one. You will learn everyday vocabulary that will help the beginning student express himself or herself more clearly and authentically.
