About Eilidh
I am 25 years old and I am from the Highlands of Scotland. I love to travel, paint and go to the gym in my free time. I have been travelling Latin America for 8 months now to immerse myself in different cultures and to learn Spanish. I grew up speaking Scottish Gàidhlig and I often write reflective essays about my travels on online platforms such as 'Substack'.
I worked at 'Kaplan International' school in Edinburgh's centre for two years and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I have experience teaching a range of ages and levels from all over the world. I studied my TESOL course with 'Active Language' in Cadiz, Spain, in 2023 online and I went to visit the school whilst travelling in summer of this year. I worked with a summer school called, 'TargetEnglish' for 6 weeks where we would teach predominantly Italian and Turkish groups of teenagers.
I have experience teaching General English, Business English and exam preparation however, specialising in IELTS.

My approach is to adapt all lessons to the leaner's needs, whether that be to improve speaking, writing or exam preparation, using ESL teaching materials from a broad range of sources - coursebooks, online resources as well as authentic materials. My main focus is always to improve the confidence of the learner and of course, have fun!

I offer specialised IELTS lessons in flexible bundles, such as 5 hours for £100, tailored to either Academic or General IELTS. With experience teaching IELTS at Kaplan in specialised, targeted classes, as well as extensive private online tutoring, I support learners through every stage of the exam.
My students consistently achieve strong results, and I focus on making sure you feel fully prepared, confident, and able to perform at your best on exam day.
