About Re-ann
Hello! I’m a BSED English graduate with hands-on teaching experience in the field for almost three months. During that time, I discovered how fulfilling it is to help students grow in their communication skills and confidence. Although my major is English, I also have a deep love for the Tagalog language, which allows me to connect better with students and explain concepts more clearly when needed. I hold a TEFL certificate, which has equipped me with internationally recognized teaching strategies for English learners of all levels. This, combined with my academic background and practical experience, ensures that I am fully prepared to support each student’s unique learning journey. I am passionate, approachable, and professional. I always strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and develop at their own pace. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your skills further, I’m confident that I can help you reach your goals through structured, engaging, and personalized lessons. Let’s learn together and make every lesson meaningful and enjoyable!

As a graduate of BSED English with nearly three months of teaching experience, I have developed a strong foundation in both English instruction and classroom management. Although English is my major, I also have a deep appreciation and love for the Tagalog language, which helps me connect more meaningfully with my students—especially those who feel more comfortable using Filipino as a bridge to understanding complex concepts in English. In addition to my academic background, I hold a TEFL certificate, which has equipped me with globally recognized strategies for teaching English as a second or foreign language. This, combined with my passion for teaching, gives me the confidence that I can effectively support my future students in achieving their language goals. Teaching Method and Techniques My approach to tutoring is student-centered and flexible. I begin by assessing the student’s current level and learning style, then tailor my techniques to suit their needs. I use a mix of interactive activities such as role-playing, storytelling, visual aids, and guided reading/writing exercises to ensure lessons are engaging and practical. I also integrate basic grammar and vocabulary drills in a way that feels natural and relevant to their real-life use of the language. A Typical Lesson Plan A typical lesson starts with a short warm-up or review activity to activate prior knowledge. Then, we move to the main lesson, which could include reading a passage, practicing a dialogue, or learning a specific grammar point. I always make sure to include real-world examples and opportunities for students to apply what they’ve learned through exercises or speaking tasks. Each session ends with a short recap and feedback to monitor their progress and address any challenges. What Sets Me Apart What sets me apart as a tutor is my bilingual strength, my empathy as a new but passionate educator, and my ability to explain lessons in both English and Tagalog, depending on the learner’s comfort level. I create a safe space where students feel heard, understood, and encouraged to grow at their own pace. Who My Lessons Are For My lessons are ideal for beginner to intermediate learners—elementary to high school students, or even adult learners—who are either looking to improve their English skills for school, work, or everyday communication. Whether the student is just starting to learn English or needs help refining their grammar and speaking skills, I can adapt my lessons to fit their goals.
