I am a middle school science teacher with a background in Environmental Science. I have taught Comprehensive Science 1-3, Biology, Advanced Physical Science, and The Marine Biology Club. I have experience in both a hands on classroom and virtual setting.

My teaching approach is to use real life examples and associations to foster a love for science. I believe that students can better gain understanding of new concepts by applying their knowledge using a problem solving mindset. I push for my students to be advocates for their own education.
