About Lily
I am a passionate and enthusiastic Postgraduate psychology student. I hold two degrees, A Master of Science in Forensic Mental Health with grade Distinction and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with First Class Honours. Currently studying a PhD. I tutor psychology from A-level to masters level including exam boards: AQA, OCR, Edexcel. I offer one to one lessons, essay marking, statistical analysis, and assistance with conducting research projects (dissertations) for students. My specialist topics are Clinical and Forensic psychology. I am able to offer lessons in SPSS for students that wish to advance their skills or knowledge using this software. Other software training is available on request (Nvivo, Qualtrics). I teach English Literature and Language at GCSE level and across KS3. I have experience with teaching content across all exam boards and I am confident and familiar with their assessment objectives and exam layout. I plan lessons according to the individual strengths and use a kinaesthetic approach to learning. I currently tutor GCSE students online for English Literature and Language, I have a large and varied group of students who I tutor on a weekly basis in order to prepare them for their exams next year. I am confident and comfortable with using online services and technology to deliver lessons. For example interacting on the whiteboard, uploading lesson materials and using the video and microphone to encourage effective communication and build pupils' confidence. I also have a range of psychology students that I am mentoring for their final year projects, helping with statistics, essay writing and marking
