About Jana
Qualified in Genetics and Molecular Biology, and Applied Sport and Exercise Nutritionist graduated from Oxford Brookes University.
My passion for biology and nutrition originates from inspirational teachers that guided me through my journey. Therefore, I believe that enthusiastic teacher is the essential element for student’s development, progress and success. Also, I am convinced that anything can be easy learnt if presented the most appropriate way. Therefore, I love to quote Albert Einstein who said 'if you cannot explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough'.

I am confident about my knowledge and natural teaching skills. My past tutoring experience comes from activities such as helping my university friends to get better inside into difficult topics. I educated medicine students about genetic mechanisms and cell signalling and helped biology students with an understanding of biochemistry and molecular biology. Moreover, at Oxford Brookes University, I was honoured to lead lectures for my classmates to provide inside into the epigenetic and nutrition.
Furthermore, during the studies, I was working as a childminder with children from both private and public schools (4-6 years), helping with homework and educating them in the areas of their interest. Moreover, as a summer program coordinator, I acquired excellent experience to work with children (5-15 years) and prepare funny, entertaining and educational activities for them.

If you are looking for someone who can explain you in an easy and simple way our fascinating but at the same time complicated human biology Jana is the right person to go!
She will use only the vocabulary that is familiar to you, draw pictures/graphs etc. to help you understand and visual the area that you are interested in, recommend specific books/journals or even video on you tube. At the top of that Jana is extremely friendly and open-minded person.
