About Andreas
My name is Andreas and I am a third-year medical student at Imperial College London. At school, I achieved a full set of A* grades in both GCSE and A-Level. Since then, I've had the opportunity to assist a number of students with their studies in Biology, at both GCSE and A-Level, in Chemistry and Maths, at GCSE level, as well as their application for medical school, namely the UCAT, BMAT, personal statement, and interviews. I also have experience writing questions in practice question banks for the UCAT exam. More recently, I have been fortunate enough to participate in a national teaching programme where I taught more junior medical students from a number of UK universities on aspects of their curriculum. I believe that each student is unique and therefore requires a unique approach to teaching to achieve their full potential. I employ a heavily student-centred approach, where I identify the areas in which a student needs the most help, explain the concepts required, and then facilitate practice on a variety of past paper questions. This ensures that students are very familiar with what they will face in the exam and that lesson time is used as effectively as possible. I have extensive knowledge of the UCAT and BMAT exams, as well as the different interview formats used in each medical school, whether it is the more science-focused Oxbridge interviews, panel interviews, or the very widespread multiple mini interviews (MMIs). Whichever area you need help with, I look forward to working with you to help you discover your potential and feel confident in your abilities, which is the recipe for success in your exams and interviews.

A very good tutor who takes time to explain things properly and puts great emphasis on question practise, especially in areas of weakness.
Andreas is a skilled tutor who can easily find a way to explain concepts in a way that the student understands.
