An enthusiastic teacher to help you learn guitar and music

I have practising guitar with Gianluca for many years and can honestly say that I've learned something new at every single lesson. Not only is he is a great guitarist across all musical genres but he is also a great teacher. He designs the lessons to suit my needs, so we mix it up between theory and songs. Gianluca is also really strong on how to use technology to support his lessons and to help his students become better musicians. This latter point is relevant for anyone wanting to learn electric guitar. But we also work really well in pure acoustic mode. Gianluca is the only guitar teacher I've had. I consider myself very fortunate to have found him.

Gianluca has taught me the guitar for over 10 years now, with us having a lesson nearly every week. I have found him to be an outstanding teacher. He an unbelievably good guitar player, with a detailed understanding of technique and theory, which gives him the ability to regularly find solutions that have allowed me to play songs that would otherwise be too technically challenging. he is also endlessly patient, extremely tolerant and ready to praise. He is also incredibly empathetic, understanding how playing the guitar and lessons have to fit into everyday life - something that unsurprisingly changed dramatically over the last 10 years. His flexibility and understanding have allowed me to continue playing the guitar, throughout his time. perhaps most importantly, however, is the fact that he is a real music lover, who plays everything from jazz to metal, and he appreciated country music, to classical guitar and then back to Toto. He has opened my eyes to lots of different music over the years, and it is this, as much as anything, that has kept me having weekly lessons for well over a decade!
