About Luisa
I am a third year Primary Education with QTS student at the University of Sussex, on track for a 1st class honours. I have had over 3 years teaching experience in different year groups for placement, working closely with children of all needs and abilities. As a future teacher, I am passionate for other teachers to engage and inspire students through creating conditions in which children will WANT to learn. Using creative and easily understood approaches to Maths, English and Science has sparked my past students' intellectual curiosity, and has allowed them to fully comprehend topics they have found confusing at school.

My approach to teaching centres around nurturing and fostering the child's academic needs. In assessing their current stage, I can capitalise on the child's strengths to work on any weaknesses/confidence issues. I will teach topics slowly and systematically, using clear and engaging resources to encourage deeper understanding. To solidify their understanding, I will review my detailed lesson plans with your child and set light homework tasks to ensure the methodology is imbedded in their knowledge!
