About Charlotte
I am a Biomedical Science graduate who went on to qualify as a science teacher with Durham University on completion of my PGCE. Having trained as a teacher I am aware of the pressures and expectations placed on students studying science. I taught students aged 11 - 18 in biology, chemistry and physics and thus have experience with the various materials the students are presented. I have a passion for science and I love sharing it. I place a high importance on ensuring learning is achieved at a suitable pace and try to tailor topics to become more relatable to the student. Often in science, the abstract concepts can become more of a memory challenge, whereas I strive for an understanding the student will keep with them as they progress through their learning. I believe that learning can be an enjoyable process and aim to achieve that goal every time I teach. If you would like to know anything else, please do not hesitate to contact me!
