About Hope
I have multiple years of experience in tutoring, hands-on experience in teaching, as well as my Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education. I have a very multicultural background that gives me an in-depth knowledge of students' varied styles and preferences of learning, as well as experience differentiating my teaching for students. I love to instill a passion for learning in students and help them understand the value and fun in what they are being taught, as well as empower them to learn. I believe that every child can learn.

- My lessons are for students aged 1st-5th grade
- The tutoring segments will begin with administering pre-assessments to gain an understanding of the student's current strengths and weaknesses.
- They will continue with lesson plans to move the students from their beginning knowledge to their level of goal knowledge. These lesson plans are research-based, interactive, and age-appropriate. With the online tutoring format, I will make use of online digital platforms to provide a more hands-on-experience for the students.
- The lessons will emphasize the "why" behind the content learned (i.e. in mathematics, students will be taught the reasoning behind the formulas, not just formulaic memorization)
- The lessons will end with post-assessments to measure the student's growth and my own teaching
