About Paula
I'm a qualified Biologist with a Master's in Microbiology and teaching experience at GCSE level. I'm friendly, efficient but relaxed, and understand that not everybody learns the same way. I incorporate multiple intelligence techniques into my teaching strategies. My current knowledge in the subject favour students all the way from primary school level, up to University level. I finalised my first MSc in Microbiology in 2017, which after extensive laboratory hours, a hefty dissertation, and acquiring a First, means that the information is all still fresh in my mind! I am currently undertaking an MSc in Specialised translation (Scientific, Medical and Technical) at UCL meaning that my scientific (and linguistic) knowledge will be constantly refreshed. I'm a native English and Spanish speaker, and have a B1 level in French and German making it easier for me to communicate with International students and have previously tutored in languages, specifically GCSE level English. Paula Doust is a completely reliable person with a great capacity to teach different subjects such as languages (Spanish and English) or science related matters such as Biology or Biochemistry.
