I like to see what the person I am tutoring does normally and what knowledge they have of the topic in history and then take that away and then base the tutor sessions around them. For instance if someone has the some Knowledge of the cold war but can remember certain treaties then I will create a time line for them to fill in which would help to piece the treaties and the events together
