About Gilberta
I am an enterprising piano tutor with 4 years of experience teaching students across school and college levels. I have successfully guided around 165 students, helping them build strong technical skills and a genuine love for music. My teaching philosophy is centered on creativity, time management, and encouragement, helping students explore self-expression while staying organized in their practice. I focus on technique, note reading, and music theory, celebrating small wins to keep learning enjoyable. My aim is to help every student feel motivated and confident as they grow into skilled pianists.

My teaching method for Piano, Music Theory, and Rhythm Training reflects four years of helping students strengthen fundamentals while keeping sessions engaging and enjoyable.
Creativity plays a big role in my lessons, since I encourage students to experiment with different styles and try composing simple melodies once basics are understood.
Time management is something I emphasize, helping students structure their practice time between technique, theory, and repertoire so progress feels steady rather than scattered.
Encouragement shapes how I interact with every student, since celebrating small wins keeps piano practice motivating rather than stressful during difficult stages.
Lessons typically begin with proper hand posture and finger exercises, followed by note reading and simple rhythm patterns, with music theory basics like key signatures and chords introduced early.
As students progress, I add rhythm training and basic ear training exercises to build timing and pitch sense, along with expression work for performance focused learners.
I adapt my teaching to match each student's personal goals, whether learning piano for fun or building toward future advanced study. My aim is a creative, organized, and encouraging space for every learner.
