About Tim
Currently I work with our local ITP college students, providing feedback, critique and role modeling to help improve their ASL/Interpreting skills.
I have been a rater for interpreters on both National and state levels and have provided SLPI (Sign Language Proficiency Interview) services for future interpreters and hearing clients working with deaf clients.
I own and run an ASL Interpreting Agency. My wife and daughter are both interpreters. My brother is also deaf and works as a translator from English to ASL.
As an individual and family member I am committed to improving communication between the deaf and hearing world.

I like to make learning fun and instructive. In doing so, use the sandwich method. Encouragement and positive feedback is the bread with a slice of critique in the middle. You will find that I am a very kind instructor with the goal of having you progress in the language, to be fluent and conversational. You will positively improve your ASL skills. I will observe all your facial expressions, parameters, vocabulary and grammar. All features of ASL will be covered in my lessons.
