About Alok
Hi, I'm Alok Raj - an English language and communication specialist with a strong academic and professional foundation in language, marketing, and strategic communication. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from S.S. Memorial College, Ranchi, where I developed a deep command of the language - from grammar and composition to critical reading and analytical writing. I'm currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Marketing) from I Business Institute, Greater Noida, which has further sharpened my skills in clear, persuasive, and results-driven communication.
My professional journey has given me hands-on experience turning strong English and communication skills into real business results. As a Management Trainee at Hero Cycles Limited and previously as a Marketing Intern at LG Electronics India, I've written reports, dashboards, promotional content, and professional correspondence where clarity, precision, and persuasive writing were essential. At IMS Learning Resources, I worked closely with students and institutional stakeholders, which gave me valuable experience simplifying complex ideas and communicating effectively with people of different backgrounds and skill levels — a skill I now bring directly into my teaching.
My background also includes strong expertise in professional presentation and personal branding, including CV writing and persuasive storytelling, skills I've applied both in my own career growth and in helping others present themselves effectively. I've completed certifications including HubSpot's Inbound Sales and Sales Software programs, and Coursera's "Mastering Sales" course - all of which reflect my commitment to continuous learning and my ability to structure information clearly and communicate with impact.
