About Mary
I am a second year English student at the University of Southampton, having achieved an A in English Literature A-Level and a B in English Language A-Level. I am new to tutoring, but I have experience working with young children and I am a patient individual with good listening and communication skills! I am extremely passionate helping others see how fascinating English is to study, and aspire to not only ensure that my pupil gets an excellent grade, but also to help them enjoy studying English as much as I do.

I tutor pupils up to and including A-Level standard (English Literature or Language). I aim to specifically tailor my guidance according to each individual pupil's specific problem with the subject, and then work out a simple and clear strategy that will help the pupil understand. As an individual I am very patient, understanding and encouraging, and work with each pupil in a way that suits their own individual struggles, capabilities and needs.
