About Miranda
As someone who has navigated both dyslexia and ADHD, I understand how frustrating it is when reading, writing and learning isn’t coming as easy to you as it is to your classmates. I create a reassuring, patient, and encouraging atmosphere in my lessons. Combined with studying English Literature at degree level, this means my lessons are as academically informative as they are supportive.

Hi there, I’m Miranda and I’m currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in English Literature! Having studied both English Literature and Language at GCSE and A-Level, I’m familiar with the skills it takes to achieve top marks. I tailor my online sessions to individual needs, identifying areas for improvement and curating specific activities to accomplish your academic goals.
My experience:
I have tutored for the last three years and have worked with Key Stages 1 and 2, Eleven-plus and GCSE students. I have also volunteered at a primary school for the last four years (working primarily with Key Stage 1) where I conducted 1 to 1 support sessions with dyslexic students.

Details
I offer a free 45-minute introductory lesson so you can get a feel for how I teach before booking any further. My hourly rate is £15, with discounted packs available for those booking multiple sessions: 5 hours for £65 (£13/hour) or 10 hours for £120 (£12/hour); this makes regular tutoring more affordable long-term. Lessons are held online, so no travel costs!
