About Asma
Hello. My name is Asma, I am 28 years old and I'm currently studying Applied Business Languages and International Business Management with a main focus on Chinese. I speak 6 languages, including German, English, Chinese, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi. I have already taught in the past. I have just come back from my 14-month stay abroad in Shanghai, where I have also taught English and German.

As far as the teaching is concerned, I like to be flexible and adapt myself individually to the needs of the students. In general, I like to work in a practice-oriented way, i.e. with a communicative teaching method that is based on the situation method. Experience shows that a language is easier to learn when situations are re-enacted from everyday life. Thus, the "drilling" minimizes and linguistic communication is facilitated by the elimination of a psychological language barrier. My goal is to help students get to a level where they can not only put complicated sentence constructions on paper, but use the language in practice and communicate in everyday situations as well.
