About Pamela
Hello! I’m Pamela, a Bachelor’s degree graduate in Secondary Education, major in English. I’m passionate about helping students improve their English skills in a comfortable, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.
I understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel challenging or intimidating. That’s why I make my lessons patient, engaging, and personalized to each student’s needs and level. My Approach as a Tutor
I believe that learning English should be comfortable, engaging, and practical. As a Bachelor’s degree graduate in Secondary Education, major in English, I use a student-centered approach where lessons are adjusted to the learner’s level, goals, and learning style.
My Teaching Methods and Techniques
I combine conversation practice, guided discussions, reading, vocabulary building, grammar exercises, and real-life examples. I encourage students to speak as much as possible while providing gentle corrections and clear explanations. Rather than simply memorizing rules, I help students understand how to use English naturally in everyday situations.
A Typical Lesson
Each lesson usually begins with a short warm-up conversation to assess the student’s comfort and review previous topics. We then introduce the main lesson through examples and guided activities. Depending on the student's needs, we may practice speaking, pronunciation, grammar, reading, or vocabulary. We finish with a short review and practical exercises that the student can use outside the classroom.
