About Kirsty
I am very enthusiastic about teaching English. I really enjoy meeting new students and working with them in a way that best suits them to reach a better understanding of the subject. I like to take a positive and encouraging attitude to teaching as I think that is the best environment to learn in. I want my students to feel comfortable enough to ask questions and to let me know when they don't understand something.

I have been tutoring English up to A Level standard for 4 years. I have taught 7 students, I usually teach hour long lessons, and I teach both English and Maths. I enjoy being very encouraging of students of all ability levels and finding the right pace for any student to flourish. I have found that both in-person and online formats can work well.
I have just graduated from Oxford University with a degree in English Literature. At A level I got A*s in English, Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I am now doing a Masters in script writing at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
