About Claire
I am currently pursuing my liberal arts bachelors degree. I have experience working at my college's writing center to help students draft, edit, or finalize their writing projects. In my free time I love creative and cross-cultural writing. I am passionate about the intersections of music, psychology, writing, language and culture
I am fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese and have conversational Spanish skills. Navigating multiple languages and cultural contexts has shaped how I approach learning, thinking, and communication. It has helped me be more attentive to clarity, translation, and awareness.
I believe that no student is perfect, and that developed learning is shaped through many drafts, frustrations, celebrations, and (most importantly) hard work.

First, we check in. What’s due? What feels impossible? We set specific goals for the session. Then we work together at our own pace. One sentence at a time. There’s no such thing as too many questions or problems just some that have yet to be solved. Before the session is over we make sure to finish with a clear plan and goals for our next session.
