About Adam

I am a reflective and intellectually curious A-Level graduate who achieved top GCSE grades in English (Grade 9 Language, Grade 8 Literature). I bring a principled and analytical mindset to teaching, helping students build confidence, clarity, and originality in their work.

My methodology combines metacognition — teaching students how they think — with idea-crafting and creativity, so they can develop unique, high-quality responses rather than relying on rigid templates. I also focus on exam technique and revision strategies, using practical tools like mind maps, “blurt” exercises, and structured practice to help students remember, organise, and apply knowledge efficiently.

I specialise in GCSE English, with lesson lengths tailored to student needs, ranging from 20 minutes to one hour, ensuring lessons remain focused, engaging, and productive. My priority is helping students think critically, revise effectively, and perform confidently in exams.

About the lesson
