About Kathryn
My name is Kathryn and I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Intermediate/Secondary Education from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. My teaching areas are English and Social Studies with special interests in folklore and cultural geography. I also have experience teaching post-secondary, Adult Basic Education, ESL, and employment training.

I work with each student to help develop and define their learning style and teach according to how one learns. I like to use a variety of mediums and methods for teaching to ignite the brain and keep learning interesting and relevant. I also help the learner acquire techniques and skills to help self-propelled learning and continuous development.
