I am a teacher with over 10 years experience, including K-12 and university. I work closely with students to improve writing in many genres and across multiple grade levels. I teach by modeling writing, working through various elements of writing such as sentence, paragraph, and chapter construction and revision, as well as grammar. I am approachable and encouraging. I will carefully review with students what is successful about their writing and how to improve. I search out and use individualized and interesting teaching approaches matched to the student.
