About Sami
I have been a tutor, teacher, and educator for over a decade. I have taught all ages at home and abroad English and martial arts. I have a degree in English from MacEwan University in Canada and a Canadian TOEFL certification. I greatly enjoy helping people learn and advance in whatever way I can, and I look forward to working with you.

My teaching approach is student-centred. I structure my lessons around the needs of the student and use materials relevant to the student's life and experience. I focus on needs assessment early on to best cater to each student's learning style and requirements.
Lessons are challenging, engaging, and entertaining, and students enjoy the relaxed and casual atmosphere I create.
Lessons typically consist of a warm-up activity, an introduction to the new material with a review of the previous lesson's material, a few games and activities to familiarize the student with the material, followed by production activities in which the student must demonstrate use and knowledge of the material. Finally, the lesson ends with a quick review of the class and the assignment of out-of-class work for the next lesson.
