About Matt

I am British and have a BA in Modern Languages (Italian) from the University of Hull, England. I have held the RSA/Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language since 1993, and taught in Bournemouth, England, Italy and Spain before coming to live in Brazil in 2002. I am also a translator and writer, having published my first book in 2024.

About the lesson

Online or in-person classes (in the city of São Roque/SP) for both beginners and more advanced students based on speaking and listening, from the first class. The focus is on developing fluency so that the student can speak confidently without having to think about grammatical rules.
