About Shannon Rose
I am currently finishing my degree in Primary school teaching, I have one year left to finish. I can give private classes of any subject to Primary school children. My speciality is teaching English. I am native English, my parents are from London and I studied sixth form in London. I have the Cambridge C2 Certificate. I can teach English as a foreign language at any level needed (from A1 to C2).

My methodology for Primary school students is a mix between theory (I like to work with the syllabuses of a book widely used in Primary schools to prepare students for Cambridge exams, the books are quite complete and work on many different levels) and practical. I work on Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing (all the skills that are taught from Primary up to the Cambridge exams). I like to work in a fun way so that students can learn easily and with more motivation.
With adults who want to get an English level to work or to prepare for Cambridge exams, I also work the four skills mentioned above, since these skills are fundamental for the teaching and learning of English. I work with many different books (all different levels) to plan my lessons and to teach the theory behind the language and practical to practice the speaking and listening, which will prepare the student for exams and for real life experiences in work and travels..
I like to work with activities, I find it a very effective way to learn and to comprehend. You can ask as many questions as you like and I will explain everything in a simple and easy way, I like to use diagrams and videos to be able to demonstrate and clarify certain subjects too.

If you wish to cancel a class you will have to notify me 48 hours before due class. If there is no notification, you will be charged half of the amount of costs for that class. If it is an emergency there will be no charge, depending on the emergency.
The prices do differ if the class is for a group of students, the more there are the cheaper. (Maximum 5)
