About Sarah
I’m a safe space for students with learning disabilities, who identify as part of the lgbtqa+ spectrum, and who just need a safe space to struggle with their academics. I’m passionate about reading, have written novels, and carve wood and linoleum on the side to make art prints. I’m a gardener and environmentalist. I also struggled through school with ADHD and dyslexia and understand the isolation that can bring when learning at a different pace from my peers.

Flexible hours and I offer a fun personality and a judgment-free atmosphere where I believe in no stupid questions and there is zero shame allowed. I’m great with students who struggle with their mental health as well as students who really struggle to see much point in English as a subject. All levels welcome. I can offer services for those looking to improve their essay writing, literature analysis, annotations, short essay writing, and understanding texts. I will read or re-read any book my student is learning in order to give the best assistance I can. I can offer great creative writing assistance, poetry writing, and contextual history lessons.

I am open to discussing payment options as I understand every family has a different financial status. I will only charge a travel fee if student is 5+ miles from me. That is subject to go up should the student be farther than 10+ miles.
