About Lucy
I am attending teachers college at Victoria University to become a high school English teacher.
Before this, I completed a diploma in screenwriting and directing at South Seas Film School and then a BA in creative writing and journalism.
I've always been an avid reader and writer, but apart from that, I love art and music. My art practice has jumped from medium to medium but I love pastels and oil paint at the moment. I've also enjoyed my time playing bass in bands but play more casually now.

I'm an easy going person and I'm passionate about English! I know how to help and can tailor my lessons to what's needed.
Generally I like to include both theory and activity in my lessons so my student is engaged with their learning, helping information to stick and fostering a better understanding of the subject.
I tend to stick to a one hour lesson but am flexible and willing to work with what a student needs. I have taught intermediate to high school pupils and find that's where my strength lies.
