About Yeghia
I'm currently completing an English degree at the University of Toronto, with a strong focus on close reading, argumentation, and clear written expression. Beyond my coursework, I write personal essays regularly on my own blog, so writing isn't just something I study academically, it's something I practice consistently and take seriously as a craft. My background also includes technical work, where explaining complicated ideas clearly and precisely is part of the job every day, a skill that carries over directly into teaching writing and grammar. I'm patient, organized, and genuinely enjoy helping someone go from struggling with a concept to actually understanding it. Sessions are prepared and focused on your goals, not generic exercises, and I always want you to leave each lesson with something concrete you can apply right away.
