About Zahra
I am Zahra Ally, currently studying a Masters degree at Kings College London in Contemporary english literature. I am an enthusiastic and English literature fanatic looking to tutor all levels up until entry A-level.
I have had experience in tutoring underprivileged primary school children before and would love to embark on some online tutoring, given the current pandemic situation.
I am a positive individual who will assist you with any writing and reading needs you require. I have a particular passion for engaging in poetry and creative writing. I love hearing students insights, queries and probing discussions surrounding literature.

My preferred teaching methods online are using some form of video chat (Skype or Zoom for example). This allows for more engagement between myself and the students as opposed to a chatroom tutoring session. Zoom is quite handy as both myself and the student will be able to look at passages of text on screen together if necessary for the particular session. I am flexible in terms of the way I teach as this is all dependent on which areas and topics the student needs help with. However, when literature help is needed I find it easiest to send over highlighted passages of text and then analyse with the student.
