About Natalie
My main experiences are in tutoring younger students during high school in English grammar, pronunciation and writing. I also regularly support my fellow students with writing essays, practicing for presentations and language questions. As a result, many of them have gotten better grades in their essays and exams, and they have gained confidence in their use of English. I'm a very patient person who cares deeply that the people I teach can grow and learn something new. I love the English language and I would like to pass on this love.

I am an American Studies student (British Studies as an elective) in Leipzig, who previously attended a German-English high school in Switzerland for six years. I regularly write and read English-language texts in the academic and non-academic areas and have produced German-English translations for websites. Thanks to my almost exclusively English speaking environment and travels in Scotland, England and Australia, I have achieved a pronunciation that is indistinguishable from that of most Australian native speakers. However, through my experience in English linguistics, I can also correct and teach US-American pronunciations, if desired.
The style of lessons will differ depending on the level you are striving for. We can build English grammar from the ground up with a textbook of your choice, we can work on specific topics you are struggling with, we can practice everyday conversations, edit texts or do language training for a more correct pronunciation. Since I am also at home in academics, I also offer to practice the writing of English-style essays (five paragraph, thesis statement, topic sentences ...). So if you have problems with that, I can help you too.
