About Serena
My passion for language began with a love for reading stories and exploring different styles of writing. This interest encouraged me to pursue a Master's Degree in English Literature, where I studied literary analysis, language structure, and communication techniques. Over the past 6 years, I have taught students from many backgrounds, helping them develop stronger English skills and greater confidence in expressing their ideas.
I believe that language learning should feel encouraging and practical. My teaching style focuses on clear explanations, patient guidance, and interactive exercises that help students actively use the language. Every student has unique goals, so I adjust lessons to match their needs. Some learners want to improve conversational English, while others want to strengthen writing or academic skills. My role is to guide them step by step while keeping lessons motivating.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading literature, writing short essays, and exploring different forms of communication. These activities help me stay connected to the language I teach. Helping students discover their voice in English and communicate their ideas confidently is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Learning English becomes easier when lessons feel engaging, supportive, and connected to everyday communication. My teaching approach focuses on helping students build a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, reading, and conversation. In the beginning we explore sentence structure, common expressions, and pronunciation practice so learners can speak with more comfort. I use short stories, visual examples, and guided discussions to help students understand how words and sentences work together. These activities allow learners to practice language naturally instead of only memorizing rules.
As students grow more confident, lessons begin to include deeper reading exercises and structured writing practice. Students learn how to organize ideas clearly in paragraphs, express opinions, and understand different writing styles. I also encourage regular speaking practice through conversations, role-play situations, and topic discussions. These activities improve listening ability and help learners respond more naturally in English. Mistakes are treated as helpful learning steps, and I always provide clear explanations that help students understand how to improve.
My goal is to make English learning feel enjoyable and practical. Each lesson helps students strengthen their communication skills step by step. Over time they gain confidence in speaking, reading, and writing. English becomes a tool they can use comfortably in school, work, and everyday life.
