As you will see from the uploaded CV, thanks to certificates issued by the University of Cambridge, “Certificate of Proficiency in English”, and “Endorsement for Translation into/from Italian”, I am on the register of English translators and interpreters of the Civil Court of Rome (previously the one of Bari) and able to provide you with a copy of some sworn translations at any times. Although I am not a native speaker, having studied and worked abroad in England and USA (also for the YMCA), having gained experience as invigilator during the Esol Examinations for the Authorized Cambridge Center for Apulia in Bari, I have worked for the British Institute in Bari, British Institute Roma Salario, British Roma (Via Aurelia), Chinese Institute, UPTER, as translator\ bilingual teacher for individuals\groups, (classes held at FederLazio/Rome Tre University and in several private companies to mention a few-Elementary-Upper Intermediate ,A2-B1-B1+ -European framework levels). I have also worked as Organizer of National and International Conferences, (several of them in the scientific field), in charge of establishing economical agreements with sponsors (mainly pharmaceutical companies), selling marketing products, signing CME contracts, contacting suppliers, finding the suitable venue and dealing with all tasks concerning the setting up of an exhibition area, and nonetheless translating scientific bibliographies. I am an energetic hard working woman, fostering teamwork in all environments I work in. I am able to lead groups, regardless if I work as an English teacher with students, or as a gym instructor or as a conferences organizer, all roles that require interpersonal skills. I feel I could fulfil other tasks concerning the role of secretary, acting also as language support for international events, fundraising events, assisting and supervising documents translation, being an interpreter/translator.Thanks to my working experience, in July 2011 I was selected by the IAS located in Geneva, to do voluntary service as Registration\Tour Supervisor at the 6th Conference on HIV held at the auditorium in Rome, and by WFP for the fundraising event ‘Hunger Run’,held in Rome on October 21st, 2012. Furthermore, in August for two weeks, I usually work in summer camps as coordinator/supervisor of sports and educational activities, taking abroad teens aged 12-16. Indeed I mainly use English on a daily base, but I am also on the register of Interpreters in French at the Italian Chamber of Commerce (Rome-Italy), I have used French when working as tourist guide, and still use it occasionally when I need it, holding a D.E.L.F. 1er degré (Diplôme D’Études en Langue Française). Even if you perceive that my CV does not meet your expectations and therefore You will find me not suitable for this position, I do hope to be considered for any other role you may think of and have the opportunity to be interviewed.
It would be an honor to join your team and share my life and work experiences based on the 3 ‘C’ I once learnt during a training in a Mcdonald’s restaurant: Collaboration, Coordination, Cooperation. A lesson I always try to put in practice, whatever I do.
Please call me if you need any further information that could assist you in your decision.
Thanking you for your time and consideration, I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.

Yours faithfully,
Cinzia Citrigno
