I tailor my teaching to each student, focusing on their needs, and the exams they are preparing for. I focus on developing a thorough understanding of the syllabus and boosting confidence, rather than relying solely on memorisation. Connecting theory to practical application is key, so lessons are interactive and focus on learning by doing. Students retain up to 90% of what they learn when they actively participate and 'learn by doing,' compared to just 30% when they only hear or see the information.

Perfect! Julia is a meticulous, knowledge, enthusiastic tutor and brilliant motivator. Julia has established a great rapport with my daughter, and since beginning online sessions she has gone from strength to strength. Julia has excellent revision plans, study strategies and is well versed in all the texts my daughter is studying via OCR. I cannot praise Julia highly enough.

Perfect! Julia is kind and patient and has been a good GCSE tutor for my son who has been struggling with English.
Perfect! Julia is a wonderful mother-style teacher. She is always concerned for her student. Ahmet is very happy to have someone guiding him in dangerous water of English GCSE. I can see now how important to have someone who has deep experience in techniques, methods and different approaches in English to get a good grade in GCSE. I believe Ahmet will hit his target with Julia's priceless help. Thank you Julia for your warm approach and helping style of teaching.
- I have the pleasure of working with Ahmet Kamil, and I must say that he is an excellent, intelligent, knowledgeable, and capable young man. He has shown a significant level of proficiency in the subject, and his skills and knowledge are impressive. However, one thing that stands out to me is that he may not always have the confidence in his abilities that he deserves.Julia's response :
I strongly believe that he has the potential to achieve great things if he believes in himself and his abilities.
Despite this, Ahmet has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow. He takes feedback seriously and is always eager to improve.
I do not doubt that Ahmet has the potential to achieve the highest grades possible. With his intelligence, knowledge, and capabilities, combined with his strong work ethic and willingness to learn, I am confident that he will succeed, which upcoming mocks will prove.
Perfect! Julia has been working with our son to prepare him for the GCSE English Literature exam for some time now, and the results have been outstanding. The progress that our son has made under her guidance is truly remarkable. Before Julia began tutoring him, he was predicted to receive a grade 4, but with her help, he is now on track to achieve a grade 8 or 9. We are incredibly grateful for Julia's dedication and hard work, and we highly recommend her to anyone in need of a tutor for English Literature.
Perfect! Julia has been diligently preparing our twins for their upcoming GCSE exams in English language and literature. Through her efforts, they have both made significant progress, going from working at grade 5 and 7 to now working closer to grade 9. We highly recommend Julia as an outstanding English teacher.
