About Abigail
I'm a freelance teacher with a passion for working with kids! I've taught in the homeschool community since 2014, teaching a variety of ages (1-18) and classes in English (including creative writing, academic writing, & literature), French, history, science, music, drama, and more at Williamsburg Classical Academy, Open Tent Academy, The Music Post, and Peninsula Homeschool Connection. I've also spent 5 years offering private English & French tutoring (in-person and online). I have experience working with all grades and all different kinds of learners (with a special focus on and love for helping kids with ADHD & Autism - because let's be honest, neurodivergent kids rock!). Years of being in the homeschool community have given me the ability to be flexible, think creatively, and work with many types of people with many types of needs, backgrounds, and various levels of experience.
