About Steve
I love the English language; its huge vocabulary, endless idiomatic possibilities, its unpredictable pronunciation and spelling. I thrive on teaching it all. I have taught groups of foreign students and individuals, face-to-face as well as online. Students enjoy my informal approach to teaching, which is effective, comprehensive and targeted on the student’s (or students’) specific needs.

I focus on functional vocabulary to help you do day-to-day things in English. I am a Cambridge CELTA-qualified EFL teacher, a languages (Arabic and Hebrew) graduate, and former journalist and magazine editor. My entire 35-year career has been dedicated to the English language.
