Hello!
My name is Alejandro Matthew Nogales and I am an English philologist, translator, and language teacher. I've been teaching for 7 years, providing private lessons and helping both children and adults improve their linguistic, conversational, and grammatical skills in both English and Spanish.
If you've reached out to me, it's likely because you'd like to know more about my work as a language teacher. I'd like to share a bit of information with you regarding my teaching methods for private lessons.
To begin with, as a teacher, I try to apply my knowledge of language teaching in an innovative and alternative way. What does that mean? It means that, according to each student's needs, I help people learn a language in the most practical, useful, and convenient way possible. In a fun and pragmatic manner, so the student doesn't just memorize lessons, but rather understands the importance of learning a new language and how it can be applied in everyday situations and future opportunities. I combine grammar, writing, and conversation lessons depending on the student's needs.
It's important to mention that in some cases, I might not be able to fully apply this method, as the student's needs may require focusing on "passing an exam." In this case, we will adjust the lessons to meet the student's requirements.
How many lessons should you take to make the most of this? It all depends on the student's needs. Sometimes more hours are required, other times less. From my experience, I recommend booking at least 1 hour per week to achieve the desired results.
Lastly, here are my rates:
SPANISH lessons: €25/h [Online]
ENGLISH lessons for adults (with necessary materials provided): 20€/h [Online]
ENGLISH tutoring for school students (primary and secondary): €18/h [Online]
