About Maisy
As previously mentioned, I am currently in my First Year of my English and Secondary Teaching degree. I have always had a keen passion for English, hence why I would love to teach this for the rest of my life. I looked up to my own High School teacher greatly - she gave me my true passion for this subject, as well as the confidence to take this further, and I would love to be able to pass this on to students, while I am also completing my own studies!

After achieving a Grade 8 in GCSE English Literature and English Language, as well as an A in A-Level English Literature, this is my specialised subject and the one I intend to tutor, whether this be with A-Level or GCSE students. I will accept students at any level of learning, as well as any age; I am currently studying English and Secondary Teaching at Nottingham Trent University, which I believe will give me proficient knowledge and aid in tutoring. I will structure my lesson plans around each student, ultimately beginning by asking where they would like to improve, and the areas they would like to work on. From there, I will be able to effectively help each student; I also intend to discuss and respond to marking/feedback, and go through A-Level and GCSE past questions to prepare each student for their exams! The length of each lesson will be dependent on students' wants and needs, as well as our schedules, in order to be accommodative of both parties here.
