About Carla
I have completed a BA English and Language Practice degree and graduated with honors. This degree enabled me to learn extensively about the English language in terms of its structure and use, literature, socio- and psycholinguistics, as well as all types of editing, translation theory, proofreading, and other language revision skills. I worked as an academic publisher for 3 years, where I used my skills to edit and proofread academic texts and journal articles, and work closely with clients to review content and bring about proposed changes. I am meticulous and detailed, while also being kind and encouraging. I can cover the most niche topic to broader and more general ideas. I am keen to help students learn to the best of their abilities with lessons that are designed to meet their needs.
