About Lilly
I love English and I always found it a very rewarding subject to teach because it allowed me to share this passion with other people. I found that often, the subject was taught in such a nebulous and abstract way that students disengaged with it because they thought they weren’t able to grasp it. It has been my pleasure to work one on one with people to offer a more tailored and sustained approach to teaching English that isn’t found in a classroom of thirty students.

I offer a personalised approach adapted to the individual learner that aims to make reading fun and stress-free. In supporting learners with reading, I incorporate mini games and activities to help with recall and engagement. For students at GCSE level or higher, I offer detailed essay run-throughs and marking alongside help with analysis of the key texts.
