About Stephen
Theory is often the most misunderstood part of playing an instrument. Sometimes the best way to get better is to stop playing entirely and listen to the mechanics of the sound. My lessons integrate acoustic and electric technique with essential skills like tuning and maintenance. I ensure that every session concludes with a practice module to maintain your momentum between our meetings.
Since I hold a BM Guitar, I can help you read tabs or master complex strumming patterns for grade exam prep. Teens and advanced players often find this structure very helpful. I look forward to hearing you play.

You likely want to bridge the gap between being a casual strummer and a confident musician. Having earned a BM Guitar and BA English from Humber, I combine academic rigor with a practical, community-based approach.
Over 217 students have walked through my door to find their own sound or refine their technique. My teaching style remains clear and encouraging regardless of whether you are a teen or a returning adult learner. I enjoy working with self-taught players who need more structure in their practice routines.
