About Theo
I am always grateful for my English teachers at school for blessing me with great insight into literature. Teacher's in other subjects showed me not everyone has a passion for what they do. I hope to inspire an excitement for literature that may be missing for unfortunate students. I have a laidback attitude but can get really exited when reading good writing, especially when the words on the page form a lens into worlds I had not seen before.
I know as well, that some may enjoy English but are not where they want to be in terms of examination. I want to help get that critical thinking down on paper in a clear and confident style that examiners will love.

My lessons are an hour long and designed for secondary school students taking either A-level or GCSE English Literature or language courses. I train the critical thinking skills and analysis skills needed for success in English courses, by training people to look at the big picture and the finer detail simultaneously. I also encourage a lot of wider reading that is missing from the secondary school curriculum. So my lessons are great for those who want to go the extra mile. my qualifications in English are 2:1 in an English and Classics degree.
