About Wesam
Hi, I’m Wesam! I’m currently an Engineering student at the University of Calgary, and I’ve always found that teaching is one of the most rewarding things I do. Whether I’m explaining the rules of a new game or breaking down a complex thought process, I love helping people reach that 'aha!' moment. As an engineering student, I focus on practical problem-solving rather than rote memorization. My methodology involves walking through real-world examples and then challenging students to tackle problems independently to test their logic. In a typical lesson, we review core concepts, solve exercises together, and then pivot to independent practice where I provide feedback on your specific thought process. I offer tailored Math and Physics support for middle and high school students, adapting my explanations until every concept clicks perfectly.
