About Asal
I am very conscientious and careful when it comes to my students’ time. I like to ask them what they want to learn. Often, it is surprising how well students know their own level of understanding. Then, I will ask them to do a problem for me thinking out loud and make a teaching plan from there. Starting with teaching what they don’t understand, teaching what they have an incomplete/wrong grasp of, and finally some practice problems.

Math is easy if explained properly. If I can explain a concept in less than an hour your brain does not find it impossible to understand the concept and pay attention. Also, you will have more time to let it sink in and practice it. Coming from an engineering background, I know how to make concepts simpler for students and break problems down to smaller pieces.
