About Abdallah
I'm a Materials Engineer in the Metals and Corrosion team at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). I enjoy using maths to model and solve real world problems. This is why I believe that maths should be understood, not memorised.
Maths was my favourite subject in school and this is why I studied engineering. I'm currently finalising a PhD thesis at Brunel University of London and I would like to continue to help students understand difficult mathematical concepts and achieve the best possible grades in their exams.
I try to keep my lessons fun and engaging whilst also delivering the vital information needed to achieve the 9 grades and A*s.

I'm passionate about teaching mathematics, from basic algebra, to complex numbers and matrices. My approach involves engaging the student and helping them to understand the solution, rather than memorising it.
If the solution method has been well understood, the student will have the confidence to tackle any question in the exam. In my lessons, I work with the students to help them break down difficult exam questions using modern techniques.
I have a degree in aerospace engineering from Brunel University of London and I'm currently in the final stages of completing a PhD in Materials Engineering (specifically metallurgy). I taught GCSE and A-level maths, as well as undergraduate engineering modules during my PhD.
