About Esme
Hi there, my name is Esme and I'm really passionate about making Maths and Science more accessible and enjoyable. At school, I struggled with my confidence and often found that a classroom setting didn't always suit my personal learning style. Now as a tutor, I'm focussed on creating a supportive environment where students can thrive and feel comfortable asking questions and exploring topics more thoroughly. I believe that every child learns at their own pace and requires different levels of support in different areas. As a personal tutor, I aim to make the lessons fun, challenging, but still rewarding and am committed to helping students achieve their academic goals.

I use personalized teaching techniques tailored to each student's level, ensuring a deep understanding of Maths and Physics concepts. I understand that these subjects aren't everyone's cup of tea and strive to develop each child's confidence in a non-judgemental and encouraging environment. Lessons typically last 1-2 hours, but I'm flexible. I achieved 7 9s at GCSE (including 9s in Maths and Sciences) and took Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Fine Art at level where I achieved 3 A*s and an A. Having sat these exams within the last 5 years, I am familiar with the current syllabus and system. I I also have have 3 years of tutoring experience where I taught students from the ages of 4 to 18.
